Preheat oven to 330 degrees Fahrenheit (about 165 degrees Celsius). Make sure you know how to check that the oven is being heated correctly. Some ovens make noises when preheating. Add sugar and eggs. Whisk sugar and eggs until you have a fluffy mixture. You don’t need to use an electric mixer. You can just use a spoon or fork. It doesn’t take more than 30 seconds a minute when you’re using a small amount of ingredients.

Add sour cream and vanilla extract. Again, be sure to stir until the mixture is homogeneous and creamy. Whisk eggs and sugar with the same spoon. Be sure to stir until you have a smooth, creamy batter.
